whimsyslut (cece) is a lesbian sustainable artist based in seattle whose multi medium work focuses on bringing to life the inner worlds we run to for safely. as a neurodivergent creator and abuse survivor, cece finds comfort in softening the overstimulation of life through indulging the senses and whimsymaxxing life. when we allow ourselves to play in the worlds our inner children built, we find the magic is still all around and within us. holding onto our whimsy is an act of revolution. close your eyes and make a wish.

about the brand
what does it mean to be a sustainable artist?
whimsyslut's sustainability process involves sourcing as much material from waste or secondhand sources as possible. (ie: recycling, unwanted items from friends and neighbors, seattle recreative storefront, facebook buy nothing groups, thrift stores). what must be purchased new, prioritizes supporting small and local businesses. fighting capitalism starts with individual choices to redirect money back into our communities.
how do we support our community?
a portion of all sales goes to supporting Seattles LGBTQ center, who cultivates access and connections to promote self-determination, liberation and joy in our communities, through services like mutual aid, free std testing, abuse and trauma survivor services, LGBTQ and gender affirming health services and youth drop in.

what payment methods do you accept?
we currently accept most major credit cards, apple pay, paypal and google pay. we do not offer afterpay at this time.
do you offer payment plans or split payments?
unfortunately, we don't offer split payments or afterpay.
where do you ship to?
we ship internationally!
how long does shipping take?
US shipping on average takes 2-5 business days depending on proximity to seattle with USPS Ground. International Shipping times vary depending on location (usually 5-15 days). International orders are subject to delays out of our control.
how much does shipping cost?
typically we ship best rate (USPS Ground Standard U.S. unless expedited option is chosen at checkout. internationally shipping is subject to increased cost determined by shipping service provider, not in the artist control.
how can i track my order?
you will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships.
missing packages/damages
what should I do if my package is delayed or lost?
we're happy to help however possible. first, please refer to your tracking number for the most up-to-date information. please note that once a package has been shipped, it is in the hands of the carrier. if you cannot find your package but it has been marked delivered, this is unfortunately outside of our responsibility - you can submit a claim with USPS and repurchase through our site if you are able to get a refund!
what if my item arrived damaged or defective?
Please take photos of the item and packaging and email them to whimcece@gmail.com we'll take a look and help sort next steps. Hold onto all packaging to remain eligible for a refund or replacement - it may need to be further inspected by USPS or our team. If you discard of the packaging or evidence, we are unfortunately unable to assist in a replacement.
what is your return policy?
To request a return, please reach out within 7 days of delivery. Items must be sent back to us in their original condition and packaging, and once received, approved and confirmed, we'll issue a refund for the item cost. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
are returns free?
We're happy to accept returns, however shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. For returns from outside the U.S., we recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. We cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
how long do refunds take?
Once items are returned and inspected, a refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.

We can definitely facilitate an exchange! Shoot us an email within 7 days of receiving your item and we will provide the return address and an invoice for shipping of your new item once the original is recieved and inspected.
